AML/CFT & KYC Policy

This document describes the anti-money laundering/countering financing terrorism (AML/CFT) and know your customer (KYC) policy of JD Capital Financial Group Limited (hereinafter - JDC) and its involvement in detecting and preventing any activity connected with money-laundering, financing terrorism, and potential use of the Company’s products and services with a purpose of money-laundering.


AML/CFT Purpose

It is the policy of JDC to prohibit and actively pursue the prevention of money-laundering and any activity that facilitates money-laundering or the financing of terrorism or criminal activities. JDC requires all employees to adhere to these standards in preventing the use of its products and services for money-laundering purposes.

Money-laundering is generally defined as engaging in acts designed to conceal or disguise the true origins of criminally derived proceeds so that the unlawful proceeds appear to have been derived from legitimate origins or constitute legitimate assets. The aim of the policy is to guarantee the clients participating in financial transactions through accessing the JDC Company website, are identified under reasonable standards with the minimum identity data set as law-abiding clients. JDC has developed the internal anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism policy in accordance with the legislation requirements of New Zealand. This enables JDC to carefully monitor any suspicious actions and transactions and reports such actions to the appropriate authorities in due time.


JDC's AML/CFT Duties

JDC reserves the right to abandon the transaction processing at any stage if the transaction deems to be in any way connected with the money-laundering or criminal activity. In accordance with New Zealand legislation, JDC is not entitled to inform a client that his criminal activity has been reported to the appropriate authorities.

Each employee of JDC who is directly or indirectly involved in duties are associated with the provision of products and services of JDC is expected to know the requirements of the New Zealand AML/CFT laws and regulations. All AML/CFT duties shall be the affirmative duty of all employees to carry out.

To ensure that the company’s AML/CFT policy is carried out, the management of JDC has established and maintained an ongoing AML programme for the purpose of assuring compliance with the relevant laws and regulations and the prevention of money-laundering. This programme seeks to coordinate the specific regulatory requirements within a consolidated framework in order to effectively manage any risk of exposure to money-laundering and terrorist financing across all business functions in JDC.


KYC Procedures

In order to execute the AML/CFT laws in New Zealand, JDC will demand from its clients to provide documents verifying their identity and address.

All identification documentation and services records shall be kept for the minimum period of time required by New Zealand law.

JDC demands that during the operation of the replenishment of funds, the sender’s full name fully corresponds to the name specified during the account registration.

JDC has the right to demand strict adherence to commonly agreed procedures of funds replenishment and withdrawal.
