On the Wednesday 15th May 2019, JD Capital Financial Group Limited held their second forex trading workshop at the Massey University. The aim of this workshop was to give students practical experience with the MT4 trading platform, and students showed a great interest for the MT4 platform.

Our hostess Vera started off introductions from JD Capital and MUACSA, followed by our CEO – Lawrence gave a speech.

Lawrence shared how he started his business, and he encouraged students to have a stronger thirst for knowledge.

A representative from our sponsor GPP Markets then illustrated the framework of the whole industry and GPP Markets.

Our Speaker – Mac, first gave a recap of the first seminar, summarising the key points from previous. Then, students logged into their demo accounts and our speaker guided them through the platform. Our speaker went through the indicator list and trend line, teaching students what the indicators mean and how to draw different forms of trend line.

Our speaker navigated the students through the platform step by step in tutorial style, frequently making sure the students were following along by asking if they had any questions and answering any questions they had. There were staff members on stand-by to give one-on-one help to students who got lost or stuck to ensure no one would fall behind.

All students are eager to learn how to operate the MT4 platform and engaged in discussion with their neighbours.

After students operated MT4 trading platform by themselves, Vera introduced the students to JD Capital’s Weekly Challenge activity, explaining how it works and how you can earn credit and prizes. Weekly Challenge Activity is held by JD Capital and sponsored by GPP Markets; people who register for Weekly Challenge can use the demo trading platform without depositing any money. If customers can earn profit from Weekly Challenge, they can deposit their earnings into a live account or exchange their earnings for prizes. At the end of the workshop, attendees had time to ask more questions about the company and Weekly Challenge. Students were also given the chance to sign up for Weekly Challenge

Although most students were still wanting to continue the study of MT4, due to the time and space limitations, we had to stop at 8.00 pm.
