The final ranking of the Competition will be determined by who had
the highest ratings across all 3 categories (Net Equity, Profit Factor, Total
Trades). The winner is determined by the sum of all his or her ratings across
all categories results in the lowest total number. For example, a participant
who has finished 1st, 2nd and 4th respectively
in the rankings of each category (total sum of all places: 1+2+4=7) will be
placed higher in the overall ranking and therefore win, if his or her nearest
competitor’s total sum of places is over 7 (2+3+3, 1+5+2, etc.). If the leading
competitors have an equal total sum of their places, the winner is determined
by additional criteria. The 3 categories are calculated as follows:
Net Equity: Net Profit = (Current Day Equity
– Previous Day Equity) / (Previous Day Equity) x 100.
Profit Factor: Profit Factor =
Profit from Trades / Loss from Trades.
If the competitors have equal results, their ranking is determined
by the financial total amount of their profitable trades – the competitor with
bigger total wins.
Total Trades: Total Trades = total number of
all trades opened throughout the competition.
Overall Ranking: Overall
ranking = sum of placings of the Competitor across all three categories.
The winner is determined by the value of their overall ranking
being the lowest numerical value. If competitors have equal overall ranking,
the winner is determined as follows:
1.
The Competitor with the numerically lowest sum of places in profit
factor and traded volume categories wins.
2.
The Competitor with the highest Net Equity wins. (If the sum of
places across profit factor and traded volume matches)
4.1.
The participant who has the lowest sum across all three categories
shall be awarded the following prizes:
·
1st Place: $100 Trading Credits
·
2nd Place: $90 Trading Credits
·
3rd Place:$80 Trading
Credits
·
4th-10th Place: $60 Trading Credits
In
the circumstance that two or more participants have an equal total sum of their
places, the winner is determined by the additional criteria stated in clause
3.8.
