The “Lockdown Duel” competition held by JD Capital on April 6, 2020 came to a successful conclusion on April 19, 2020. This competition was a great showcase of the many different trading styles of the contestants. In the last few weeks during the competition, the market fluctuation was quite volatile. This was evident on the leaderboard as the competition leader changed almost daily. It can be deduced from the results of the competition that the contestants who were more cautious when entering the market were in the end more prosperous. JD Capital hopes that all the contestants who participated found this competition an excellent learning experience.
The competition also displayed great fortitude amongst the contestants. There were a few contestants who during the first few days suffered losses to their account. However, they displayed strong mental toughness to not be deterred and ended the competition on a net profit. It is very normal to suffer losses in trading and we hope that all the contestants take away key traits such as persistence, courage, and patience that are essential in being a good trader.
